First Christian Church is located at 327 East Capitol Avenue in downtown Jefferson City, Missouri.
When not in service to the worship and mission of our congregation, we are happy to make our space and facilities available to the larger community. The building is accessible to all and there is ample parking in both our own lot directly behind the church and in various public lots within walking distance. For more details on our space or to request use of our facilities please contact Kathy Speidel by e-mail (Kathy@firstchristianjcmo.org).

Sanctuary
We have a beautiful, 100-year-old sanctuary. Renovated in 2009, it provides a beautiful setting for our weekly worship, weddings, concerts and other special events. The church does allow for non-members to get married in our sanctuary, provided that the officiant is a Christian minister and the ceremony is conducted as a Christian worship service. For more details about hosting your wedding at our church please call the church at 573-636-5157 or e-mail info@firstchristianjcmo.org.

Pipe Organ
As part of the sanctuary renovation, a new three-manual, 47-rank Quimby pipe organ was purchased and installed through a generous gift made by Sam B. Cook. It was dedicated to the memory of his mother, Gertrude Shuman Cook, and his grandmother, Olivia Hord Cook. On a weekly basis this incredible instrument is used by the congregation to worship and glorify God.

Meeting Space
We have a variety of different classrooms and meeting space to fit the needs of your event. Most areas of our church are equipped with Wi-Fi.

Family Life Center
This multi-purpose area includes a regulation basketball court, spectator seating, can be equipped for indoor volleyball, and features the same proprietary court surface used in NBA practice facilities. The Family Life Center can easily be transformed into a banquet hall or space for community events.
