First Christian Church is proud to be a business partner with East Elementary School through the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce. We attend field day & sporting events, read books to classes, sponsor the Super-Citizen program, support teachers and families, help with "Buddy Packs" (weekend food assistance), mentor students, and hold a year end teacher appreciation dinner. Each year we host an annual block party to strengthen relationships among the community served by the school. The East Side Neighborhood is a jewel of Jefferson City. This partnership is one way our congregation puts our faith into action by serving God's people!
