We have returned to two services in our sanctuary at 8:20 and 10:40. The 10:40AM worship service will be livestreamed at facebook.com/fccjcmo and available here by Monday afternoon.
In keeping with the most recent CDC guidance, here is what you can expect when you come to worship on Sunday morning:
- There are not limitations on where you can sit in the sanctuary. We do ask family units to distance themselves when possible, especially if members are not fully vaccinated.
- First Christian Church HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THAT ALL WORSHIPING WITH US WEAR A MASK to protect yourselves and more importantly out of respect for others. This is the current recommendation of the CDC and other medical experts for both vaccinated and unvaccinated people when indoors in high infection areas, like Cole County.
- As always, all followers of Jesus Christ are welcome at the Lord's Table. Communion will be set out at the front of the sanctuary and church members will be invited to come forward and self-serve during our celebration of the Lord's Supper. Gluten free options are available for those who need them.
- Please practice good hand hygiene, stay home if you are feeling even the slightest bit sick, and consider worshiping by Facebook if you fall into the categories defined by the CDC as being at greater risk of severe illness from COVID-19.
